Returning to something you want to keep
Use the existing thread when the earlier events still belong to the story. If a conversation seems missing, check archived chats before assuming it was deleted. An archive can be restored; a reset removes history. Review the history options before making a permanent change.
Editing an older message removes later exchanges, and Time Travel can also remove what followed. A separate conversation is a different way to explore another premise. For a sign-in problem, use account-access guidance rather than placing credentials or recovery information in the conversation.
Give the reply a shape that suits you
Short exchanges and descriptive scenes need different amounts of space. SMS favors concise presentation; Paragraph suits a longer response. Chat mode and thinking level remain separate choices. Adjust the available settings through the reply-control guide rather than repeatedly sending a message that is still awaiting an answer.
Choose whose role you are changing. Saved Personas describe you within the fiction, while Group conversations bring several companions into the exchange. A change of cast or personal role does not require mixing incompatible versions of a story into one thread.
Meeting a character for the first time
Begin with our companion selection and read the background. Imagine adult neighbors preparing a tiny rooftop garden: one wants herbs for cooking, while the other prefers flowers. Ask for a choice and a reason, then decide what your own role says next.
A clear question is enough to open the scene. Tell the character if you want brief dialogue or more description, and correct details that drift. Use invented circumstances instead of passwords, payment information or private facts about real people. Enjoy the exchange as fiction, not professional advice.
Common questions
Is the portrait a person who will answer my messages?
No. Names, pictures and voices represent fictional AI companions. They do not identify a human operator speaking as that character or someone available to meet.
Does every text reply take Moments from my balance?
Basic text conversation uses your plan's message allowance, not a per-message Moments charge. Optional media has separate costs and access requirements.
Who can help if a conversation is not in the archive?
Contact support with the account email and an approximate time for the missing conversation. Do not include a password, login code or recovery link.
